Honey Badger Adult and Young

Great to have confirmation of the successful breeding . It must be many years since Howletts last bred them .

Is it a single cub? I saw the female a few weeks ago but the young were still underground- her teats were showing though.

I only saw one cub, however most of the time that I spent watching this enclosure, there was only the female showing, and the cub only came out for a short amount of time to wander around before going back into the den. This picture was taken about two and a half weeks ago though, so the cub may be a bit bolder now.

For me this is one of THE photos of the year, just great to see, I hope I can get there soon!

Yes, I agree- especially as I wasn't sure if there really was a successful breeding until this actually confirms it.:) as I can't see that they have announced it anywhere on their website or facebook pages yet .

It's nice that they've breed, too bad it's a hybrid... I really hope that Aspinnal don't want to release that animal.
