All the larger Birds of Prey at ICBP are housed in these barns which are wire-fronted but otherwise covered . They seem to do well , perhaps they feel more secure .
 
These aviaries are built especially for birds of prey. It gets rid of the issue of birds getting wet and then sitting through the freezing conditions in a typical uk winter. They also stop the spread of disease through wild bird droppings. They are the most forward thinking aviaries in the world of birds of prey centres and are probably close to 30 years old now. There's a reason the ICBP (NBPC) have been so successful breeding many unique species,
