Thanks, and yeah, these were some of the best I could get with the bars; not very helpful photo wise!
 
Do they keep any pure bengals?

Not in terms of the Studbook (and in common with the rest of Europe). The Bengals bred at the zoo (last litter 1993) would have been regarded as well-bred at the time I guess, but would now come under the heading of 'generic'. To my knowledge the only tiger tested here on a DNA level is Czar who proved to be 7/8 Siberian and 1/8 South Chinese. It can happen that non-studbook cats turn out to be purer-bred than imagined if tested of course. Hopefully one day breeding studbook tigers will return to the zoo.
 
Great photo, if it was not for the bars you would think he was in the wild from the back ground scenery
