There were several domestic animals in pens in this area and dotted about the zoo.

The small Reptile House contained the following venomous species in 1998;

Western Diamond-backed Rattlesnakes.
Saw-Scaled Vipers.
Malayan Pit Vipers.
Monocled Cobras.
Egyptian Cobras.
Copperheads plus young born in 1997.
Puff Adders with young born in 1997.

I think their enclosures were open-topped, deep tray-type pens, memory is a bit vague though so may be wrong ? Jack Corney was at ease with handling these dangerous species.
