Cape Buffalo at Knowsley 13/04/08

Knowsley has both Cape and Congo Buffalo in its reserves.

Are these still present at knowsley?

I haven't been back since this visit but the Cape Buffalo have been there for years and I've not been told that they've gone so as far as I know they're still there.

I don't remember them on my last visit, although that was a few years ago (I tend to rectify that problem later this month )

The Cape Buffalo herd consists of 5 females, which are kept in the first section with the Pere David deer, Rhea and out-casted Lechwe males There are no plans to re-introduce a bull to the herd due to aggression when calves are born
