It's sad how her brother, mother and her older sister have all all died. It was Anastasia first at Colchester, then her mother Deja at Linton and now her litter mate Makari, it's no shock about Deja but Anastasia and Makari were not very old, Makari was five and Anastasia was how old? I hope that Katinka can move to WHF and Mirko can die peacefully allowing Linton to bring in a pure pair of tigers.
Anastasia was definately younger than five, I would have said three, but I'm not too sure. Mirko seems to be pretty peaceful at the moment, I know there was a plan to put the two together, as Mirko is fully represented (aswell as all the hybrid controversey) he is not needed for breeding, so they could just be kept together for company, they spend a lot of time by the fence together as it is, so I can't see it is a huge problem, but putting two tigers together can be a very risky issue!
