Can you still get out of your car in this area (as we did in 1989) or have the safari park stopped this practice? The last time I visited Longleat was 2001 and I can't remember if we stopped or not!!
Nope; in fact, there's a fence about halfway across what you see in this picture that seperates the animals from the public. This part of the reserve is now just extra parking space.
