I\'ve found these birds difficult to see in other collections, but this little fella was sat right up to the aviary mesh !

Isn´t it amazing how expressive birds can be without the facial musculature which enables facial gestures in our own species? What an amazing shot - I spent a long time enjoying it.The eye is so well captured & I love how the colouration of & sharp focus of the bird contrasts with the tonalities & soft focus of the foliage.Congratulations.
