So are there two exhibits (for the brown bear and the sumatran tiger) that the sun bears take turns in with their respective occupants? Does this mean you will only see sun bears and one of the other two species depending on whose exhibit they're in? Sorry about the confusion but I don't really understand.

There is the kodiak bear and the male Sumatran tiger exhibit (formerly completely sun bear). The kodiak bear exhibit is located next to the lions, while the male Sumatran tiger exhibit is located in the first exhibit in the 'African Waterhole' (!) across from the Brazilian tapir (some people don't call this the African Waterhole but I do).
Both Mr Hobbs and Mary share both exhibits. At one time, Bethyl (kodiak bear) was on exhibit and the sun bears were on display in the male Sumatran tiger exhibit. Later on, the sun bears were on display in the kodiak bear exhibit while Satu (male Sumatran tiger) was on display in his exhibit. So they share both exhibits randomly throughout the day.
