Skeleton of Asian elephant

Skeleton of Asian elephant (Elephas maximus) bull from Belle Vue Zoo.
Typical errors: non-degreased bones (probably boiled or unearthed), lack of sternum (gives wrong impression about ribcage volume).
At least they didn't destroy the elephant, which is the worst fate for such a majestic specimen.
Today museums really need new elephant exhibits - but the animals are being incinerated, old & young - thanks to short-minded zoo authorities.
