The enclosures are quite ancient; as well as servals, it has held cheetah, northern lynx and caracal lynx in the past. It is also home to the last remaining 'traditional' marwell carnivore house, as the others have either been demolished or converted. They were based on travelling circus stalls and deemed inadequate, yet the cats seemed to breed very well in them.
