Red Panda in Roof of the World exhibit at Marwell Zoo, 8 April 2007

The red pandas are no longer in this enclosure, and the house at the base of the tree has been dismantled, but it looks like something is planned for the enclosure (unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of it). Does anyone know what that might be?

The traditional Marwell panda house has been dismantled as in the North enclosure due to a rodent problem they created, so red pandas now have two nest boxes and a feeding box. This has been done in the ROTW enclosure too, but as you say it's currently empty. However, I think the plan is to reintroduce red pandas there because of the Himalayan Biome layout.

Are there still red pandas up near the children's farm or have they moved since my visit?

The enclosure a bit above Encounter Village is indeed the only place to see red pandas in the zoo at the moment.
