This is a view into the Snow leopard exhibit at Marwell. We were there the day it was officially opened by David Gower, but we were more interested in seeing the Snow Leopards!
It certainly looks better now it is more overgrown, and they have added more logs.

It doesn't look very high nor are there much climbing opportunities for the leopard...unless there are out of shot

your wrong, its indeed very tall and they have full acsess to the rocky outcrop

The outcrop runs along the length of the enclosure by the way. I would rate this as the best snow leopard exhibit in the UK.

And I have seen that for myself too, and I also agree that it's excellent. I suppose they're joint, PL taking the welfare point, Marwell the design.

they're equal, cos you can t see the snowleopards at PL (has anyone seen them?)

I did He or she was sat right by the fence at the front of the exhibit. I've never been to Marwell but Lympnes looks a LOT better.

But this photo doesn't really do the exhbit justice, as it only shows a portion of the enclosure. I'll take some shots of all the different parts of the exhibit tommorow.

From photos I've seen this exhibit looks much better. I like the cliffs and himalayan themed planting and this exhibit looks quite roomy.
