White-faced saki (who lives with the lion-haired tamarins!)
Thank you for the nice comments! The saki wasn't in evidence when I visited Marwell last week - the tamarins ahve moved house and have a lovely new enclosure but the saki was nowhere to be seen - nto sure if it's dead or alive. The lemurs were all locked away as well as they wre putting in network cables (the keepers not the lemurs...!)
 
The saki are no longer at Marwell - they're old enclosure now completely given to the Goedli's Monkeys. A shame, they were a very charismatic animal, and it creates another point down from Marwell's relativley small large monkey collection.
 
what happened to it's females, because it was the only one left, heck, what happended to this male?
