Yep, two days after this was taken Zambar will/was be heading/headed to Blackpool Zoo. Zambar has been one of my favourite Marwell residents, and I have watched him grow from a hand-reared cub to a huge but still playful adult in the near six years hes been her. Hell definately be missed, but with the prospect of little Zambars with his new mate Anastasia and the new breeding pair of tigers that will come to Marwell with the gate open from Zam's departure, the future looks bright. 30th January 2010.
