Lack of Branchiation in Gibbon Exhibit

So other members get what we mean. 16th May 2010.
If you look in the Monkeyworld Gallery, I've commented on one of their Gibbon enclosures. Parallel rubber piping is spaced through the roof area and below so the Gibbons can brachiate all over the enclosure and get up high.

Of course its not very attractive but they've put the animals' needs before appearances. Marwell could instead use solid bamboo or some green plastic material to replicate 'vines' in order not to spoil the 'natural' effect. Not earth shatteringly expensive?

This is looking better a decade on, but could still be improved upon.

I also wonder if the exhibit is really a big enough size. Perhaps Langurs would make a better exhibit?
