Many thanks to both Ian and “vogelcommando” for your kind comments about my photograph of the white-tailed gnu. (I’ll never get used to calling this species black wildebeest.)
On all the previous occasions that I’ve seen these animals at Marwell they’ve been on the hardstand adjacent to the Chapman’s zebra exhibit; it was certainly very nice to see them out in a spacious paddock on my last Marwell visit.
