Whilst I'm all for this type of thing, this smacks a bit of (in the case of Marwell) "we have no plans/ideas, so we'll just let it go to seed." Even the signage is brief to the point of dismissive!

'nail on the head' Like so much of Marwell, just another empty space they can't be bothered with. There was nothing particularly wrong with this enclosure for keeping such a common species in! Why they wasted money on a new Coati enclosure when it could have been used to actually improve the collection for once will always irritate!

Absolutely. They need to bring in different and exciting species to attract new visitors, all they keep doing is giving existing species slightly better enclosures at an enormous cost, whilst ignoring the rest.
