3 year old male, Silvestre (plus reflections again).
Grandson of ex Bristol Zoo pair 'Adam' x 'Anne' He came from La Santillana in Spain in order to be surrogate-raised with other Orangs. Only Sumatran at MW.

He'll definitely be leaving in a few years even if none of the others do.

Unless they brought in a Sumatran partner(s) for him and started a Sumatran group? I would like to see another holder of Sumatrans in the UK, even if it was MonkeyWorld!

Who knows what they have planned - they still have land that hasn't been built on! The Sumatran/s would have to be 'rescued' to qualify for residence ;)

Nowadays because they work in conjunction with the EEP who send them youngsters from other Zoos for socialisation purposes, I think they could easily receive a Zoobred Sumatran youngster or two to keep more permanently if they wanted to. I doubt the 'rescue' part would be any obstacle and it wouldn't be the first time anyway- 'Gordon's father 'Bangi' was a surplus zoobred male from Chester.
