Nicely done photo of this huge exhibit. Our exhibits in San Diego are modest, only several meters wide and deep. The one at the children's zoo has a glass front to enable the kids to see inside.
Thanks! It's a nice enough (and certainly generously-sized) exhibit but the Meerkats aren't quite used to it yet - the zoo was busy for Easter weekend and they were forever dashing in and out of the house!
Personally, I think the meerkats would've been better in an exhibit overlooking the African Savannah for more appropiate theming; the raccoons was a bit of a drastic loss IMO.
