when sooty mangabey's left the collection the female (mavis) was reomovbed and placed in the mangabey cage to allow her some rest away from the male (Harry) I think the cage was on the monkey walk . If she was in a monkey walk cage it seems rather strange to put a fossa! in direct sight of monkeys (which I dare say could be mistaken for a tasty lemur )

I love Newquay Zoo yet I think this is one of the only enclosures that needs updating, sure some enclosures are on the small side yet fine. Please give me your opinions if you disagree

I agree that this enclosure needs updating and the majority of enclosures are fine. I would like to see them either expand the lion enclosure or replace them with a smaller species, the outdoor enclosure is a bit too small and the indoor house is very dark and dingy. I would also say the monkey walk cages are a bit too small, if i had it my way i would merge the cages to form two bigger cages. - this is quickly turning into a fantasy what would I do with newquay
