This one and Marwell's calf must have been born at much the same time. Anyone know what sex this one is?

And are the Wildbeest actually mixed with the other species now, or are they rotated in the paddock?

That's no paddock - it's the 'African Savanna'! Today I saw the Wildebeest mixed with one Lechwe, one Waterbuck, two Zebra, two Grey Crowned Cranes and two White Storks. They were all keeping themselves to themselves.

and not very savanha like if there is only 1 lechwe , 1 waterbuck and a few storks and cranes :/

You can't really expect them to have thousands of wildebeast can you? When i went there in august there was a family of lechwe.

Btw you missed the nayala, zebra, guineafowl, ostrich (and obviously the black wildebeast family) :p

This exhibit isn't that bad at all, In fact it is nice to see a exhibit that doesn't exhibit the african megafauna as part of it's savannha, eg giraffe and rhino etc
