After a long time waiting, I finally managed to see this lovely species, and thereby increase my life total of civets to two (the other being binturong). Although displayed in a mirrored sleeping den, to provide the civets with more privacy, it is just about possible when standing on tiptoes to look down at the animal itself - this is what I did to take this photograph.
