Tight leg skin refers to the fact that giraffes skin is very tight to keep the blood pressure high enough to circulate up to the head rather than gathering in the legs by the force of gravity. It is rather interesting, this is the first sign that I have ever read in a zoo that mentions this. its just a pity they dont go into detail about it. missed educational opportunity.
Just to point out they do not deny evolution by the way! in fact they merge creationism and evolution. they basically say that it evoloution does take place but it is not a random series of events, it is guided by God. Scientists argue that there is no plan or goal evoloution is blind but NAZF say that there is a plan and a finished product in mind. God uses evoloution as his tool.
This is my understanding of what they teach just from having a quick scan through their literature on their site.
I dont see a problem with this type of place, as long as the animals are being looked after properly they could put up signs about devil worship or American politics. The animals dont care. At the end of the day as zoo goers we have a choice not to go if we dont like it! everyone to their own as long as animal welfare is paramount!

Yes its all part of their physiology that allows them to be so tall without falling unconscious every time they stand up straight up! As i said a missed educational opportunity.
