Hi I'm new to this forum so please bear with me, In defence of this enclosure the photograph does not show the full height and length very well and when I saw it there was plenty of furnishings, with the gibbons making full use of them and the enclosure walls.

Yep the picture doesn`t show its true height and size but it still smaller than the enclosure that they were kept in at the collection they came from, that said the indoor house is at least 75% bigger than their old home, but at least that was better built than this enclosure ever will be.

please don't yell at me!!

but tbh this isn't that bad! its got good space, lots of things to use. But main thing is i feel its about par with some of twycross's gibbons who have the height but not the length and the width of this enclosure.

and ppl are complain that this aint naturalistic, it doesn't really matter since they are on a budget from what i've heard.

(never thought id say that)

Yes they are on a budget but doesn`t mean they can put animals into badily built and half finished enclosures like this and many of the other enclosure`s!

I agree, if you don't have the funds then you don't have the animals, it's as simple as that.

The problem animal welfare-wise at Noah's Ark has nothing to do with the owners' religious background and (I suspect) a lot more to do with their professional background as farmers, with perhaps a more... utilitarian approach to animals than we are used to in zoos.

What intruges me is their background. He went to Oxford University so can hardly be an ignoramous. I could understand it more if they were uneducated people.

Have you seen it in person?
