A new African savannah area, including fennec foxes, is planned so in that sense I don't mind that they haven't gone all out to create an immersion style exhibit.
The path is no longer blocked off as the new meerkat is finished and in full function. The viewing area for the former male Sumatran tiger exhibit (before that sun bears, before that lions), however, is blocked off (makes sense since the exhibit is empty).
