A daily visit to the new complex is offered to visitors , scheduled to last 15 minutes. On this particular Friday , the 5 viewers were all ZooHistorica delegates so the visit took much longer .
The member of the Elephant Team who showed us around answered all questions apart from where the Africal elephants will be sourced . We were told that initially 1.1 will be received .
There will be 4 elephant keepers initially , 2 of whom have had previous elephant experience .
The facility is totally functional , in keeping with most of the exhibits at Noah's Ark .
