Is that a marabou, and is the down on the nape of the neck typical?, at first glance i thought it was an adjutant stork, but they haven't them on show for years.
Yes, it's a marabou and I think it looks the same, down-wise, as the pair that are in the new marabou enclosure by the lake. I believe this one is due to be moved to another zoo - it's living in the old small mammal house.
