He was part of the bachelor group of gorillas but has been alone since his age and size meant he might challenge the dominant silverback, Pertinax, or be too rough with the younger males. I think the intention is for him to move to another zoo at some point, as happened with all the previous males that have been held here (apart from Pertinax).
