He is pretty much matured now. But there is a question mark over his abilities, given the handraised background. I think he should at least get the chance, though plans to move him elsewhere seem to be on hold at present.

It does seem that way, Kumbuka and Pertinax are the one's who I'd personally breed from. Pertinax in my opinion should have taken over the London group before Kesho, unless there is a relation with him and one or two of the females.
Pertinax would indeed have a question mark over him- also he hasn't seen females since he left Cologne Zoo 15 years ago now. Plus I think he is from a well-represented line genetically. On the other hand he's tolerant and gentle and would probably still integrate with females okay.
