I wouldn't have thought you would use a modern name. I still think of them as mountain witch doves - that's what Len Hill called them and that's good enough for an old greybeard like me

All down to my sketchy knowledge of columbiformes I'm afraid. I just used the name used by the zoo. I'd heard of Mountain Witch Doves, but did not know what they looked like .
