Refurbishment in progress.

What are they doing in here?
It looked ok when I visited in November and I spent a longer amount of time in here last visit than on any other previous trips down South.

It's always looked fine to me too. When I am at the zoo for a full day I always start off in the Brookside Aviary. Just wondering if there are holes in the netting or something like that though.

Maybe I should have said "tears" in the netting as it has plenty of holes in the first place!

It just looks as though they're rebuilding the entrance - some of the wood heaped up there looks a bit rotten.

Now you mention it, the entrance (and exit) looked a bit worse for wear when I was there last. Other than that, it's a fine exhibit.
