Flagged, Victoria Street, Paignton, 23rd September 2013. A quick snap on the way to the cash machine after my visit to Tropiquaria!

Interesting that their weekend stay at the zoo seemed to generate more interest and visitors than the presence of 5 real gorillas. I begin to understand why zoos like those model dinosaurs!

I must admit I found them more interesting than the real thing, but then gorillas are probably my least favourite animals! I did take some photographs of one during my visit on 27th September though.

:eek::D

According to the local paper, on Saturday they had 2,500 visitors and on Sunday, 2,600. They would normally expect a couple of hundred people a day at this time of year. Obviously a very successful event.

Hopefully plenty of those visitors went to both "Feathered Feats" and the parrot section, and did not just look at gorillas, real or otherwise!!
