Oh no Gigit, I thought I'd check the Paignton gallery in the hope of seeing some photos of the Bird Show and instead I come face to face with a Meerkat . It is an excellent photo though.
Thanks! I haven't had enough time to get to the show again yet but will return. I also need to play with my camera so that taking action photos in dim light becomes 'Simples'
It never has been when I have done it, and I just sit there happily flashing away and filming throughout the shows (plus watching out for Chucky last year). I take plenty of flash photos of my own parrots too and it never seems to bother them.
P.S. On the subject of the Bird Show, yesterday I saw Chico the Lesser Sulphur-crested Cockatoo perform at Flamingo Land - the first time I have seen him do a turn since Paignton in 2004. Just thought I'd mention it as I was very excited.
