White Fronted Brown Lemur at Peak Wildlife Park 5/9/15

Is the front one a white fronted brown? someone will know!

Shot in Lemur Heights walkthrough.

It is indeed - a pure male to be precise. The other individuals are hybrid "Brown" lemur which can be best described as Heinz 57

I suspected a bit of a tupenny mix up was going on with the others, but didn't know that it was occurring in lemurs.

Mostly happens in Brown Lemurs, as there are so many distinct species which were once lumped into the species, but you do occasionally get hybridisation in other members of Eulemur as well; Woburn has a Red-fronted x Red-bellied hybrid, for instance.
