Humboldt Penguin upper pool at Peak Wildlife Park 5/9/15

Can the penguins mix with the capybara and mara? Also, is the zoo claiming that the exhibit is the largest penguin enclosure in the nation?

In theory they can mix, yes. I didn't see evidence of that happening, with the mammals keeping to the grassy bits and the penguins staying around the pools.

I saw no claim to be the biggest in any of the signage I read, I may have missed that bit. For sure, its pretty big if the penguins do decide to venture a bit further afield.
