Basically what you see is what you get here.
Behind the pool / house it's just a building site.
I had a chat with one of the trainers after the show and he told me that the house has a kitchen area, accommodation pens and a small salt water pool. He also said that the sea lions have access to the outer fresh water pool btween shows.
There are currently 3 male sea lions at Pleasurewood Hills: Marcus, Claude and George (I think it's George who is the youngest and appears in the show alone). They also have a female who is currently at Blair Drummond for mating.
Aha, What a surprise to see Pleasurewood Hills popping up on here - you must be the guy I spoke to who wanted to look 'behind the scenes' ? We have 3 male Californians :- 'George' 7, 'Claude' 8 and 'Marcus' in his 20s. We also have one animal 'Bimbo' on breeding loan to Blair Drummond, he is also in late 20s and previously sired pups at Blackpool.
