A chilled-out Rhino Iguana in the desert section of the Discovery Zone. April, 2009
wow port lympne have reptiles now!! very interesting i am thinking
i remember Howletts had Burmese python

There are quite a lot of reptiles in the Discovery Zone, a small herp house on the stop-off point of the African Experience, which in itself is a recent attraction.

And Howletts still have burmese pythons in the same kitchen garden vivaria. ;)

thankyou my friend marwelldarleck , it is strange that port lympne now has a collection of reptiles , what kind of reptiles do they keep ?apart from of course the rhinceros iguana and its also good to hear that the big burmese pythons are still alive , wow its great news thankyou friend

Port Lymnpe's reptiles are divided into two sections of the discovery zone, one for jungle and another for desert. I can't remember the exact inventory, but it was mainly fairly small reptiles; the iguana was the largest in the reptile collection. Others included rat snakes, leopard tortoises, chameleons and pancake tortoises - perhaps another member can give a more defined list?

l also remember a nocturnal zone in the discovery centre although this may not contain any reptiles.

there was red somthing tortoise form the amazon (cant remmber proper name) and of course beardiea :)
