The artist has probably used a photo of John Aspinall in the enclosure with one of the Parks' silverbacks(probably Djoum or Kijo) as that is a classic pose in which they used to 'socialise'. Then he's presented his subjects 'out' of the enclosure in a more artistic/naturalistic setting- looks a bit like a field with trees behind.
