Little Red Flying Fox, Rare Species Conservation Centre, Sandwich

Currently a group of Little Red Flying Foxes live in a walkthrough section inside the tropical hall, together with Bali Starlings, Victoria Crowned Pigeons, Red Bishops and Vietnamese Pheasants.

The species arrived from Auclkand Zoo in 2008, and these specimens are the only ones in Europe.
