Looks like you got a perfect view - congratulations! Not always easy things to see.

Feeding time! ;) Although, I could have done without the reflection!

What fantastic-looking creatures! They were elusive when I visited on the 15th August.

Reflections are always a nuisance!

(and, not to get all grammar Nazi, but please don't put 'could of' - I'm petrified a whole generation thinks that makes sense! It's could have (or could've). Please - for me! :D )

I have edited for you! :p They really are fantastic animals, if only you could have seen my face when they came out of their hole!

Well done!
I know how you feel. I finally saw a Panay cloud rat at ZSL this month, but of course in the nocturnal section it was record shots only.

Thanks - much better! :D

Lovely beasties indeed. The ones at Prague surprised us with a similarly good show (though in lower light than this).

How big are these? (comparable common species sizewise?)

What time is feeding time in case I get there sometime?

Huge for murids - hutia- or coypu-sized, I suppose - certainly quite a bit bigger than a pouched rat.
