An East African Aardwolf (Proteles cristatus septentrionalis). :)

Do they still have their Aardwolves? I'm dying to have a photo of one (may have seen them in the past without having a photo) so I was not happy when I heard that the Center had been closed to the public. You can therefore imagine my happiness when I found on Edinburgh Zoo's website that they had received the Center's Aardwolves. So my question is basically where are the Aardwolves now, in England or Scotland?

There are definitely Aardwolves at Edinburgh (same subspecies as above).

There is also a single, aging animal (officially of unknown ssp., but probably P. c. cristatus) at Twycross.

Hamerton has both septentrionalis and generic/cristatus animals.

I'm not sure if there are still any Aardwolves at RSCC, but I believe not.

Fair enough, but what confused me was when I checked both the websites (Edinburgh and RSCC) and found that while the former says they received the Aardwolves of the latter in August 2010, the latter still claims on their website that they have Aardwolves (but of course it might just be the question of the latter not keeping their site up to date)

Yes, but it also still says they have Sun Bears, and Tapirs

Indeed. I think the RSCC website is just out of date.

I believe that RSCC have got some more of the same sub-species that they sent to Edinburgh!

RSCC does indeed still have East African Aardwolf, It has 4.2 Animals, plus Edinburgh have 1.1 and Hamerton 0.1 - The RSCC website will soon be updated from what I hear!
