I chose to type a remark on a photo that did not already have anywhere from 10-60 comments on it, as the RSCC certainly provided a platform for many argumentative debates on ZooChat. The slipshod exhibits were trashed by many but the amazing specimens on display were often admired, and so what has become of the 2-acre property? Are all of the animals gone? Have any cages been demolished? Was the demise of this establishment directly related to low attendance, or poor word-of-mouth, or bankruptcy? Does anyone know the full story of why this facility rose out of nowhere and then disappeared like a gust of wind a few years later...
I don't really have the answers your looking for but I know for a fact that many, if not all animals have been sent away to other places. From what I've heard, though this is just a rumor, lack of funds was unlikely to have anything to do with the closing.
