The female ( hand-reared ) was in season and doing her best to get the attention of the male who was sat close to the fence . He totally ignored her . I was very impressed with the very rich colour of their coats , a beautiful pair of cats .

There are two enclosures , one much bigger than the other , both of a decent size . Both are grassed and have tree shade , there is a pool in the larger enclosure . The pair alternate between the two enclosures so that they get used to each other's scent and do not regard one enclosure as their territory .
