In addition to the flamingos, there are White-faced Whistling Ducks, Red-breasted Geese and Sacred Ibis. A very neat-and-tidy, 'bird garden' aviary.

I think they are fully winged sadly they have not bred them which is surprising given how well they breed the chileans who are defo fully winged

There blog says they have moved all birds except for the lesser flamingoes out of the aviary and have renovated the aviary to try to breed from them.

they need to keep them in during the winter, and supply them with heat and sprinklers to get the humidity up....they wont breed them!I worked there and this was never ever done and from talking to breeders over the continent, this was the onlt way to breed them...but what do i know lol!

such a shame to hear that - here we have a decent sized flock that are currently just used as decor flamingos by the sound of it -they should be sent to hillside (privert part of blackbrook to boost their numbers as they are the best ones who breed) I have written to seaview on 2 occasions reguarding this and I have not had any reply - i hope they can breed them as they do very very well with the chileans and keep them in a nice manner but they have had long enough to get them doing so and the population of lessers needs serious managment !

hillsides flamingos arnt always locked in through winter but have houseing at night and they dont use a sprinkler system and i cant fully remeber but i dont think they had much heat either maybe a heat lamp at best.
