I love your descriptions of the goings-on at Sewerby. The plinths, fencing and sparkling bowls provide a charming contrast to the the dramas of the big zoos. You should be writing a column or blog somewhere
I think Parrotsandrew takes more photos of fixtures and fittings than of the animals themselves. There should be some sort of award for such photographic attention to detail. If I was still a Moderator I'd ask for one but I abdicated...
Thank-you all. I do like to photograph all sorts of things (great was my horror on Friday afternoon when I was in danger of running late and dashed off to the zoo only to realise I had forgotten to take a camera - I missed some excellent photo opportunities too!). I think I mainly photographed the animals at the weekend though, not that I should have stayed as long as I did on Saturday anyway (another issue) as I made myself late for the concert I was going to thus missing "Bond" but at least I saw all of Katherine Jenkins's performance. Sorry, going off-topic.

A Goat Mountain once itself, and a Barbary Sheep Stack - or has it had some subtle adjustments that have passed me by? Maybe I should check my Paignton photos (I did earlier on as it happens, but I was looking for photos of Big Red Fred).
