Currently empty exhibit refurbished by KeeperKatie and madgeandshane, 21st

Hopefully something very exciting, but I do not want to put the mockers on it! To give a clue, the exhibit would require modifications and enlargement to house a mammal that was kept in the Orangs' section of the Ape House at Flamingo Land in the mid to late 1970s but was not a primate.

Your secret is safe. I'm none the wiser as I can barely remember the 'Ape House' at FlamingoLand, only the Orangutans in their outdoor enclosure.

The creatures in question (five or six of them I think) lived in the glass-fronted indoor bit visible from outside the house.

Still not any the wiser as I have no memory of that area at all. But from your 'five or six' comment I'll take a stab at Coatimundis ;)

No, but Coatis would be very welcome to return to Sewerby. The Head Keeper designed the exhibit currently occupied by the Capuchins (it was modified for them, including the new house, in 2006) for Coatis in the mid 1980s.

Spot the Difference is one thing, but random guessing games aren't such fun...:( I'm content to just 'wait and see'.;)

Ooh no, I wasn't suggesting a guessing game as I want to wait (and hope in my case) as well. I was just saying it is/was (at FL) not Coatis :).

I am now very hopeful. Apparently the creatures could be arriving next week. The exhibit is big enough as it is (the Animal Education Centre in Hull has the species in a smaller one) and the extension will be constructed later.
