No is the short answer Diana wasn't known for her love of animals, children, fashion, music yes.
In fact she would have been the ideal supporter for P##A, knew little about animals, but enjoyed publicity.
I often heard people saying the Princess of Wales Parakeet Polytelis alexandrae was named after her. The clue is the species name. After her death someone started a campaign to get Chester Hospital (The Countess of Chester) named after her, it was pointed out that it already was.
I could think of over half a dozen herptile experts meriting naming a Reptile House after them. However, royalty-like I cannot and find it somewhat awkward. It is veering towards the preposterous. :roll eyes:
