I think slimbridge should net an area and let the andeans be fully winged they have long primary feathers I'm sure we would have more flamingo chicks if the adults were fully winged!! That said WWT are brill when it comes to flamingos!!
It's likely all the old Andeans & James' are permanently pinioned, so would not benefit from a covered aviary, although of course any new unpinioned birds would.
