It is a walk through exhibit, the lemurs and emu are part of a diverse species mix, there are also kangaroos and pheasants, including all three eared pheasant species.
I'm not aware of the lemurs causing any problems (lemur walkthroughs are ten-a-penny over here these days) but the emu is rather too interesting in people for my liking.
